Going through a rough phase?

If you are going through a rough phase at the moment or you have been trying to process a rough phase that you went through in the past, then this letter is written from the deepest part of my heart to you.

Many times when we go through rough seasons in our lives, it feels like we are the only ones caught up in that space. We feel alone and sometimes, even isolate ourselves from others because of how ‘alone’ we feel in our situation. I find that many times, this is not the best thing to do.

The best thing to do in this season is to lean on God and the relationships that He has blessed us with.

The comfort and understanding we seek are with God and the relationships He has surrounded us with. It is when you open up that you see that you are not alone and there is so much comfort that comes from sharing with the right people.

Many times, we allow rough seasons to define who we are, and before we know it, we find ourselves in an identity crisis that we never had before. But, those seasons are just a phase! Just as there is the good, sometimes, the ugly comes and what we do with it determines whether it stays with us as a burden or regret or it becomes a stepping stone.

Today, while speaking with a mentor, she said, “Don’t let the bad days make you think you have a bad life.

The rough season is just a phase and it is for our growth, so we must hold dear to our identity in these times and open ourselves to learning and comfort from God and our friends and family.

You are not alone in this season. You are not alone. God is with you, and His arms are open to comfort you. The people that He has surrounded you with miss you, and they sincerely want to be there for you. But if you stay alone and hold on to your heavy heart, you may never get past it.

Enjoy the relationships and share your burden as God leads you. Receive love and comfort from people and take it one step at a time.

I have attached a music playlist that would be useful for this season. I hope it helps.

I am cheering you on and rooting for you always! Keep going!
